Experience

1971-Present    Freelance Illustrator    New York, N.Y./Tempe, Az.

I illustrate in various subjects ranging from fashion and conceptual to storyboard illustration. Illustrating for many clients: Posters for Scholastic Magazine, conceptual drawings for Warner Brothers, record label for a Grammy winner Genya Raven, costume drawings of an Oscar and Tony winning designer Theonia Aldrich to name a few.

1994-Present    Associate Professor/Art Specialist    Tempe, Az.

University of Advancing Technology/College of Multi-Media
Developing and teaching the following courses: Conceptual Illustration, Basic and Figure Drawing, Digital Painting, Interface Design, Basic Design, Color Theory, Advanced Color Theory, Animation Theory, and Typography Design. With a background in photography, I have taught that and Cinematography.

1993-1990    Art Director Tribeca    New York, N.Y

MKR Design
Clients included Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Scholastic Magazine. The majority of work was in the educational division, the end products ranged from book design to teaching collateral such as posters and testing materials.

1976-Present    Freelance Designer    New York, N.Y./Tempe, Az.

Design and Special effects photography for The New York Times Book Review, Design in publishing, graphic and packaging for clients as diverse as Avon to General foods to A,T&T.
